East, West, South, North: New directions for tourism, hospitality and events education and research
We are delighted to welcome you to Perth for the Council for Australasian Tourism and Hospitality Education (CAUTHE) 31st annual conference, Monday 8th – Thursday 11th February 2021.
CAUTHE 2021 is jointly hosted by Curtin, Edith Cowan and Murdoch Universities and will take place at the Esplanade Hotel in the heart of historic Fremantle.
The conference theme seeks to be inclusive and diverse. It will challenge educators and researchers to use new lenses to examine the biggest challenges faced by tourism, hospitality and events, globally and within our region.
The CAUTHE Conference aims to:
Bring together tourism, hospitality and events (TH&E) professionals from academia, government and business to promote informative, stimulating and challenging discussion on the latest issues in the field
Discuss recent methodological innovations in the fields of TH&E
Provide TH&E educators and researchers with an opportunity to receive feedback from peers to improve research quality and educational output
Provide a vehicle for TH&E educators and researchers to establish dialogue with industry, government and community representatives.

The safety and well being of our delegates are very important, and we understand that institutions are also going through a hard time during this uncertainty. We believe that by postponing the conference to February 2022 is the best outcome for all parties at this stage. We can't wait to welcome you to sunny WA in February 2022. In the mean time, we hope that you are keeping safe and healthy.
